((Sorry if I didn't do justice to your character Rae! I tend to avoid covering eyes in my art work, if at all possible. I'll make the hair longer next time though! and Brooke don't even worry about it!! ;A; everyone is busy some times!! come into my arms bb it's okayyyy )) " Thanks Professor... I hope to do as well as you..." Dale didn't look very eager to go back out into the rabid media throng out there. " Is there a back door we could use?" she asked, and resting on the new, unscuffed pokeball on her belt. She was eager to leave, and maybe get into a battle, but would be more than happy to avoid the.... reporters outside. Dale couldn't help being a little shy by nature, having grown up largely exploring the mountains and desert alone.

(It's okay! You did great! ^_^ I'm not a perfectionist at all. I love how he looks. Drevlin continued to pet the young Sapler, unable to keep from grinning excitedly. He couldn't wait to introduce it to his other friends. Reaching over, he picked up its Pokéball and tucked it into his pocket. "Thank you, Professor." He said cheerfully. At the mention of reporters, he frowned. "I bet Jackal wouldn't mind acting like a living shield." He chuckled lightly, looking back at the other trainer. "Or, if you don't mind flying, he could help with a quick escape."

Brooke led both trainers to the back of the lab, "Of course, this will lead out over the back fields. Keep to the fence, try not to spook the Pokemon out there; it's all the box pokemon as you could imagine. Some are fresh caught and skittish, so don't mind them." She turned to face the pair when she opened the door, "Unless you'd prefer a dragon tag team between my Garchomp and Charizard with Jackal here?" She joked, "But I'd advise against that, flying is always another option. Keep in touch if you need anything, the island is a bigger place than it looks!"

(( C: I'm glad~))
Dale blinked as Brooke led them out, swallowing thoughtfully. "Thanks Professor, I'll be sure to keep in touch." This might be a bit of a lie on Dale's part, she knew. She was absolutely horrible at remembering to call or keep in touch, especially when she's out exploring.
After they stepped through the door, Dale turned to the follow trainer "Uh, I'm Dale, by the way. I don't think we really got introduced with all that was going on earlier." she swallows, not really all that great with introductions. "If you wanna fly still, I think I'll pass. I can make a quick escape through the back like this no problem. Thanks though." She said briskly, scratching her cheek lightly.

Drevlin nodded, keeping pace with the professor and motioning Jackal to head to the back as well. When they reached outside, the Flygon was waiting. "I'll be sure to stop by once in a while." He assured Brooke. "Something tells me this little guy might like seeing you every so often." He scratched the Sapler under the chin. The poor thing is going to be spoiled by the time I stop acting like a mama... He mused with a silent chuckle.
Hearing the other trainer's words, he turned to her and smiled widely, holding out a hand to her. "Nice to meet you, Dale. I'm Drevlin." Then he chuckled lightly. "Not to worry. If you're okay with walking, then I ain't going to try and change your mind or anything. Maybe we'll end up running into each other sometime, and then we can battle. I'd like to see your team someday, see what you guys can do."

Dale paused to size up the older boy with carefully impassive eyes. He seemed genuine enough, so she smiled just a bit.
"Yeah. I look forward to that. Good luck and train hard, I guess." she nodded, then waved at the professor, adjusting her backpack and turning to run at the fence, climb over it and be back on her way to exploring every nook and cranny in Kensai.

The teen nodded. "Will do. My team and I always do our best, as I'm sure you do, too. I'll see you some other time." He grinned as she left, waving. "Well, then..." He inspected the Sapler a moment. "...What should we call you...? First off, are you a lad or a lass?" The Sapler mewled up at him in amusement at the second suggestion. "Okay, so you're a boy. Cool! I'm sure Caliban'll be loving the sound of that. Jackal, too." The Flygon grinned and nodded. "Let's see...You're a boy...you're playful and energetic from what I've been told...All right. That settles it. Sapler, your name's going to be Trystan. That sound good to you?" The young Pokemon mewled quietly in response, smiling.
Nodding, grinning widely, Drevlin jumped onto Jackal's back. "All right, then, Trystan! Hang on tight! Jackal, take it easy; this is our new friend's first time to fly, I'm sure." The Flygon roared an affirmative before kicking off into the air, heading for the forests.
