Drevlin raced through the trees furiously with Jackal close behind him. He had only recently heard of the gentleman Alexander's Pokemon being captured by an unseen poacher and he had immediately taken it upon himself to charge into the forest head on. Leona and Bri were nearby within his sights, trying to catch any scent or sign of where the poacher could have run to. The teenager couldn't even try to describe the rage and sorrow he had felt when he had seen the traumatized Floatzel in the Pokemon Center, her eyes wide and scared as she clung to her trainer the best she could with the injuries she had sustained.
"Come on, Jackal!" He called, falling back slightly and skillfully jumping on to the Flygon's back. "We need to hurry!" Jackal screeched his affirmative and, with a powerful flap of his wings, shot forward like a bullet. Leona and Bri disappeared up in the treetops for cover, knowing the importance of the situation that they weren't detected easily.

Jasper grumbled under her breath as she perched in a tree with her arms crossed. She had heard of the commotion about a trainer's Pokemon escaping, the poacher not even seen, and she knew it could have only been her cousin.
"Idiot." She mumbled. "Taking all of the fun."
Quincy perched on the branch above her and Griffon sat at the base of the trunk on the ground, meditating. Kahn was on the branch beside hers, Simon was beside Griffon except he was standing, and Yami was several feet away, staring up at the sky. Rowan was home relaxing and out of sight as he should be; Jasper was Nightshade right now; the masked poacher that had taken an interest in the news of Kansai.
Why can't we go find a target and even the scores, then? Quincy asked with a sigh, bored.
"Oh, yes, I'm just going to waltz into the nearest town and lure someone here." She scoffed.
Nightshade, Yami suddenly piped up. Someone approaches fast. A trainer looking for the stolen Pokemon. He will not directly cross our path, but he will be close.
"Really?" The poacher asked, an eyebrow raising in interest. "Is he strong?"
He will be a challenge. I do not know if he is alone or not.
Nightshade grinned. "Well then. Looks like we've got some scouting to do. I hope you're ready, boys; this catch might be worthwhile."
Her team made various calls in response, everyone standing in preparation.

"Hey kid! Wait up!" Terrance called, but Drevlin was way ahead. Terrance was fit, but Lugia he was still thirty, no chance he could keep up with a teenager. He stopped, heaved for breath and then straightened up. "Let's just hope he doesn't get into too much trouble..." After they had brought Alexander and his Floatzel back to the town, Terrance knew he'd need to alter his team. His Braviary was soaring ahead as before, Luxray was by his side and with the exception of Arcanine the rest of his team had been altered. His Gallade, Togekiss and Mantine made up the other half of his squad. Terrance knew that he'd need his best for this.
Lisimba, his Luxray, had keen scent, so at least now the electric lion could take over and track down Drevlin. Braviary screeched up ahead, no sign on his part, Terrance was finally understanding what each similar sounding screech meant. "Please don't get into trouble kid." Terrance muttered under his breath, "We don't need more trauma."
