(This is just a little thing away from the poachers storyline to bring me in, I also think ignus was planning to join to explore both our characters as they are similar)
Vincent swung his legs out over the vast drop below him, the breeze whipping wildy past his feet as he sat atop his lofty perch on a grand old tree that must have been hundreds of years old. He gazed over the canopy bustling with wild pokemon, the noise of the forest had always soothed him, a melody of untampered echoes and whispers of the spirit of nature that was unequaled by any manmade sound. As the sun streamed over the horizon beams of light glimmering through the dust and the foliage tossed aloft by the wind it highlighted this land in a magnificent image that would not long be forgotten. Though he had seen many sunsets just as breathtaking this one in particular seemed significant, almost as though it were the first he had seen his mind awash with the beauty before him. Celeste nuzzled close to him, her fur damp and matted from the journey into the forest, he ran his fingers gently through it undeterred by the mud and dust, she was his partner and he loved her, no matter how messy she got. her eyes softly closed as she lay her head in his lap. Too awake to sleep, Vincent pulled out a small half made sculpture from his bag, it was carved from a piece of driftwood he had found the first day he'd arrived in this strange new land and it had caught his eye. running his fingers along its surface, both as course and soft as his battered hands, he reached again into his bag to pull out his knife, the blade was tattered and well used, but the black still came through in places, he could never forget the day he had got that blade and kept it with him as a dagger, he twirled the maple handle he had attached to it over in his hands and looked to the single word inscribed there Serene.........his haunted mind wandered back.......
Serene No! come back! Vincent called in vain as his absol Serene lunged herself towards the metagross with all her force, You've gotta stop his voice screamed filled with youthful pain and fear. Serene slumped slowly to the ground, her body weak and broken, still snarling at the metallic monster looming over her frail form. Now Metagross that voice still pierced his heart whenever Vince remembered Finish her!the man bellowed. Metagross charged a mass of energy radiating a horrific glow, before unleashing it's might.........Vince Blacked Out...........when he awoke, the man had gone, Serene's body lay broken yards away and her horn, lay tarnished and dulled by his hand......
Vince returned from the painful memory a single tear in his eye, he looked down to Celeste and held her. Don't worry Serene, I'll take care of your daughter. I promised you that he thought to himself, as he drifted of into a dream, his partner by his side
