Lorna flinched slightly when Nyght suddenly came up beside her, but it was only instinct. As soon as he sat down she relaxed and nodded her head at him. "Suit yourself," she said with a shrug of her shoulders. "I don't plan on sleeping tonight either."
A loud pop came from the fire and a flurry of sparks flew skyward. Lorna nudged at a half burnt log that had rolled out of place back into the flames with the tip of her hiking boot. She sighed and craned her head back to look up at the stars through the gaps in the canopy, attempting to pick out a few constellations - anything to occupt her mind really.

Zeke dragged Arthur back to camp, slowly losing most of his happiness as the situation weighed back in. He was still happy, of course he was, but there were other things to focus on. It was just, this whole poacher thing, and Esme was still at large. Nonetheless, he managed to keep up the mindless conversation as they walked, stumbling back on the camp.
"Then she bet me a cookie that I couldn't eat a whole one! So I accepted, duh, and that's how I learnt that, just because it's shiny doesn't mean you can eat it." Zeke blinked, looking around. This was... different from when they left. Ooh, fire! Wait, fires in forests are bad, right? But they're so pretty... It took him a bit to register the new arrival in the area, given his fascination with the flicking flames of pretty. "Uh... who're you? Are you a living tr- no, sorry, hello! I'm Zeke!" No way was he a living tree, he wasn't branch-y enough. His brain was just trying to create a reason for people just sprouting up... sprouting... trees. Anyway. Zeke walked away from Arthur to Nyght, sticking his hand out for a hand shake. He smiled widely.
"Nice to meet you!"

Arthur allowed himself to be pulled back to the makeshift campsite, laughing at the story Zeke was telling. Honestly, sometimes he was too cute for his own good. Arthur noticed Lorna sitting next to a new arrival. "Ah, Lorna, keeping guard, huh? Good job, we needed someone to defend the camp!" He smiled as he spoke to her, then joined Zeke with greeting the stranger. "Come to join the hunt, have we? Ah, we could use all the help we can get. We've had a few pokémon taken already, dreadful stuff." He spoke to Nyght and extended his hand, a warm smile on his face. "I'm Commodore Arthur Duncaté of East Slateport, enchanté"
The roaring fire gave Arthur the urge to sing a few songs, like back in the good ol' days of his youth. Come to think of it, he could really do with some marshmallows, but what are the chances of those being out here? He was quite hungry though...

Lorna shot Arthur a heavy glare as he and Zeke made their way back into the camp, nonchalant as ever. She snorted noncomittally and gestured to Nyght, not knowing if he'd be terribly comfortable with introductions - he was notorious for being ahrd to predict. "This is Nyght Zasq, he's a roaming leader." she said. "I'm not going to waste energy chewing you both out for being away from camp so long so I recommend you get to bed before I find my temper again."
She reached down for the half empty bag of marshmallows Evie had left behind she she'd retreated into her tent and she lobbed it at the pair of them. "Here munch on those if you're at all hungry. Nyght and I are on watch so I'll say it once more, get to bed and outta my hair."
There was a significant lack of bite to her words this time around, whether from tiredness or the fact that she was just set on ignoring Arthur as much as possible it was hard to tell.

Nyght was quite thankful for Lorna's introduction of himself, he wasn't one to be around people for very long before he became uncomfortable. "I would recommend," he said after a while towards Zeke and Arthur, "that you both keep quiet and let yourselves sleep. I know these forests well, and they are not kind to the loud." He sat down, loosened his red jacket and rested his head on his fist, which was supported by his leg. He said nothing else to them, as if setting the tone. (Nothing against you guys, Nyght's just not one for people, like, at all XD oh and Lorna, think of Nyght as Sheldon Cooper-science and super smarts + attitude I figured you'd get the reference lol)

(I'm gonna start to hurry this along so we can get into some more action. Hope you don't mind!)
In the morning, just as Evie was waking up from a lovely little sleep she noticed something beside her. She froze and then turned her head slowly, she pulled back the sleeping bag that was covering whatever was beside her.
Her scream could be heard throughout the jungle.
A figure was promptly hoofed out of her tent with what looked to be an Energy Ball, which was followed by Aphrodite the Vulpix and after her Evie – who was still in her sleeping bag and looked like she was going to topple at any moment.
“What the bloody hell are you doing in my bloody tent Jack?!” She shrieked, well, that should suitably wake everyone up now. Not even questioning how he even got there in the first place.

Jack rolled across the dirt, coughing, his eyes hurting from the very sudden and very unnecessary bright light. There was a lot of yelling. Far too much for this early in the morning. Evie was yelling and Jack just wanted to go back to sleep please.
Wait, Evie was yelling? But Evie wasn't Seth?
"But... But you're not Seth?" Jack managed to stutter in his disorientation.
He'd definitely remembered crawling into Seth's tent and falling asleep next to him. At least, it must of been Seth... Women don't snore, do they?

Lumine heard Evie's shriek, and stirred from her sleep, getting out of her sleeping bag, which she clambered in somehow, taking out a Pokeball at the ready. "Evie, are you okay?" She looked around frantically, but then stopped when she saw Jack being tossed out onto the dirt, stuttering something about Seth, sighed and returned the Pokeball back to her belt, walking up to Jack, holding a hand out with a smile.
"Are you okay, young man?" was all she could say before she saw Evie's Vulpix jump out of the tent, followed by Evie who was still in her sleeping bag. Lumine blinked a few times, and looked at both of them, her hand still stretched out to Jack, a look of confusion now on the Pokemon Ranger's face. "Um...did I miss something here?"

Lorna was stooped over the remains of the fire, making sure that no lingering embers remained - the last thing they needed to deal with was a forest fire. A loud shriek erupted from Evvie's tent and nearly sent the biologist into cardiac arrest. She swore and whipped out her pocket knife (I mean really what else was she supposed to do without her pokemon) but rather than an attacker she saw Jack stumbling out of Evie's tent with Evie's Vulpix hot on his tail and said coordinator still in her sleeping bag screaming at the hapless reporter. Lorna sighed and pocketed her knife.
"Evie with all do respect - shut your gob!" she barked. "We're supposed to be laying low!"
But really there was no laying low after that scream - the girl had an impressive set of lungs on her that was for sure.

(lmao!!! this was too funny to read today!)
Nyght had fallen asleep under a tree not even a couple hours ago, and Seth had slept hard throughout the night.
Evie's scream made Seth run out of his tent asap, forgetting he was only in pajama pants, and at the sight of Jack running from Evie's tent and being followed by Vulpix, Seth just watched on with bugged out eyes.
"Bloody hell, Jack! What in the name of all things legendary were you doing in Evie's tent??"
Behind them, a rare sight had formed- or rather, a rare sound. Nyght had simply collapsed and was having a fit of hysterical laughter.

"Are you okay, young man?"
Jack took the hand he was offered and got to his feet. Evie stood in front of him, arms crossed with daggers for eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine." Jack said, more to reassure himself than anyone else. He turned to see that Nyght was here, also rather loud.
"Bloody hell, Jack! What in the name of all things legendary were you doing in Evie's tent??"
"I didn't know it was her's!" he exclaimed, holding out his arms defensively. "I was like ten minutes late to the meet up and you guys had already left! I followed you all through the jungle and I finally caught up and you were all asleep!"
Jack scratched the back of his neck. "I needed somewhere to sleep so I thought Seth would be cool! But he wasn't waking up so I just, you know, fell asleep. I guess I got the wrong tent." He glanced over to see the real Seth next to the real Seth's tent on the other side of the camp. Brilliant.

"What the bloody hell is going ON?"
Arthur was not amused at being woken up so abruptly, honestly, some people were so rude! He had been happily snuggling with Zeke in their (totally not stolen from Evie's bag) tent. Then all of a sudden he heard shrieking, like a Meowth being drowned. He was not a happy man.
Arthur ripped the tent flaps open and looked at the commotion outside. He looked at the new person that seemed to be causing the chaos. Clearly not amused, Arthur rolled his eyes and sleepily mumbled, "Screw this" then retreated into his tent, back to the warm embrace of Zeke, who had still not woken up, regardless of the noise erupting from the other campers.

Jason smiled inwardly as he watched the reporter roll out of the tent, followed by a woman and a Vulpix. These people just didn't seam to learn. Jason looked to the Tyranitar next to him and nodded, smiling as the pokemon nodded back then released a powerful sandstorm into the camp, extinguishing what was left of the fire as it filled the area with sand. When the sandstorm subsided the Vulpix was gone and so was Jason, retreating into the cover of the woods once more. They really were making this so easy for him.

Evie was fuming, Lorna had some sense, she should calm down. But damn it she felt so violated that Jack had been in her tent, whilst she was blissfully unaware and asleep! Who knows what he could have done! "Well I'm glad you find this funny Nyght!" She humphed, Vulpix gave a canine giggle and snapped at Jack's ankles; little sparks of flame emerging from her mouth.
"How in Lugia's name could you mistake me for Seth?!" For one, I have boobs. Was something she was about to add, but that might have been considered as inappropriate. However, she couldn't say much more for a sandstorm had whipped up from out of no where, the fire was put out and Evie fumbled for Aphrodite's Pokeball, but it was too late. Just as she shouted 'return!' there was no echo from where the pokemon should retreat to its ball. The answer came afterwards, when the sandstorm subsided.
"Aphrodite...? Aph?" Her eyes became wide and watery, "No! No! How could I be so stupid?!" She cried, then pointed accusingly at Jack, "This is your fault!"

As the sandstorm whipped through the campsite, Lumine had to shield her eyes with her arms as the fire was snuffed out. Great...he knew all along where we set up camp...this guy's been following us the minute we came to the forest... When it subsided, Evie's Vulpix, which the coordinator called Aphrodite, was gone, and Lumine swore in her head as she saw Evie start to cry and blame Jack with tears in the coordinator's eyes.
Immediately, Lumine walked over to Evie and placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. "Evie...it's not Jack's fault." She had said that, and then tried to think of something else to say, but couldn't. She immediately glared at the surrounding area, possibly trying to find any sign of the poacher, but didn't. Sighing, she then looked back at Evie. "Don't worry Evie, we'll get that poacher and get the Pokemon back, including your Vulpix. I promise." She tried to smile, but she couldn't. After all, Lumine still didn't know what else to say now, and so she went silent and began thinking.
That made three. Three of the now eight members of their small group of trackers had lost one of their Pokemon. Zeke's Chandelure, Lorna's Dragonite, and now Evie's Vulpix...Lumine then began thinking as she looked around at the other members of the group, her especially: Who was next to have their Pokemon taken from them?
