Braviary shrieked when it saw the lightning streaking towards it - but again, it'd been Lorna's choice for a reason. Banking left was out of the question, it'd smash into the mountain and banking right seemed to be another excluded option for the eagle-like pokemon - that would be like running away and, afterall, these people were invading its territory.
The Thunder attack hit Braviary head on, electricty surging through the bird's body and paralyzing its limbs. It shrieked again, more out of frustration than pain as it plummeted from the sky and slammed into the ground. The large bird awkwardly regained its footing, flapping its wings fiercely, but the movements were slow and stiff - paralysis was setting in from the Luxray's attack and he was grounded, not to mention aching from the sheer force of the blow. Still, rather than trying to flee or give up the eagle pokemon let out a fierce cry and fixed Terrance with its golden gaze as if to say 'show me what else you've got' but there wasn't just rage there anymore, there was an intrigue, as if the large bird wanted Terrance to keep pushing just to see what he good do.
From her position on the sidelines Lorna smiled - Terrance had this bird on the ropes - it was paralyzed and clearly reeling from that electric attack, he had a good chance of catching it now and the Braviary seemed to be interested in the Warden for reasons other than wanting to gouge his eyes out. It had sensed his strength and it was willing to respect that.
