Jason laughed as Nyght appeared behind him, his pokemon hitting Metagross, the steel type pokemon taking damage, but not moving much purely due to its weight. He acted fast, throwing the pokeball in his hand and snagging the Houndour as he span to retaliate to Nyght. "Metagross use Psychic..." He laughed as the now damaged pokemon shot out another blast of psychic energy at the two pokemon sending the flying back, along with their trainer.
"Two Fighting pokemon against a Psychic type... 10 out of 10 for style, but minus 30 for good thinking... Your supposed to be a gym leader... You should know better..." What didn't the people understand? They continued to send out their pokemon even though he told them he would take them. He reloaded the snag machine preparing to take one of the gym leaders pokemon, wondering if it would load up before night got his pokemon away. He threw the pokeball that materialised in his hand, aiming to snag the Darmanitan.

Arthur nearly broke down as he listened to Zeke. It would be easier if he hated him, but his previous ploy didn't seem to work. And, oh God, was Zeke crying? Arthur couldn't handle this. "Get it through your thick head! I hate you!" Arthur screamed, his frustration showing. Arthur put his hand over his face, trying in vain to stop his own tears surfacing.
"Do it now, Commodore"
Arthur didn't know what to do. Why Zeke? He would have less trouble attacking Lorna, or Lumine, so why him? The poacher didn't want Arthur to prove his loyalty, he just wanted to see his friends in pain. Arthur knew then that he was dealing with a complete bastard. A possibly psychotic bastard. Arthur was stalling for time, he really didn't want to do this. That was when Seth and Nyght sprung into action. As they both sent out pokémon to attack, Arthur felt relief. If these two took Jason out, then he wouldn't have to go through all this shit. He could tell everyone that he was only gaining the poacher's trust, so he could betray him later, then maybe, they would forgive him. His hopes were soon dashed as Nyght and Seth were taken down easily. Dammit, does nothing go according to plan?
"Hey." He called to Jason after collecting himself. "We should leave now, they're rallying their defences and they outnumber us, we should just go." He tried to act like he was on Jason's side, even though the only reason he suggested they leave was because he didn't want to hurt Zeke and that maybe, the poacher would forget about the whole 'Attack your best friend' thing. Even if it was a small chance, Arthur would take it.

Lorna swore when Nyght and Seth attempted to overpower Jason and both were sent flying back - Seth losing his Houndour in the process. She ran over to Nyght, trying to help him up and glaring at both the poacher and Arthur the entire time - she had no idea what the 'pirate' was up to, but she was just hoping the crazy young man had some sort of plan - elsewise she really would break his nose...it'd make her feel a whole lot better about things. Still, if he could pull off some sort of miracle she'd be more inclined to hug him than hurt him. "Get out of here and back to your tower so I can kick your ass," she spat before looking down at Nyght. "You alright?"

Neither of Nyght's Pokemon landed a hit hard enough to knock out Metagross, and both took a hit from the Psychic attack.
Thankfully, Darmanitan was only a Fire type, not a Fighting type, so it took a lot less damage than Hitmonchan, who nearly fainted.
Nyght had not been prepared for taking equal damage to himself, and was flown back hard. He was knocked hard enough to lose wind, but managed to pull out both Pokeballs and call back both of his Pokemon before they could be caught.
Lorna had made her way over, by then he'd caught his breath. "I'm fine..." he said quietly, attempting to stand, though the attack made him feel rather dizzy.
On the other side, Seth had watched on with horror as Houndour had been taken. "NO!" Seth yelled out, but had to restrain himself from doing anything reckless.
"You'll pay for that you idiot! You tried to steal one of my Pokemon before, you won't get away with my Houndour either!"

Wait what? Evie was stunned when Arthur was so willing to go with the poacher. She had nothing to say, the others seemed to have managed to get that over first. What really bugged Evie though, was that Jack was right - there was nine... well, eight now, of us and one/two of them. Evie could do maths. Jack was insistant they could do this, and as such called out his Pokemon, the poacher was one step ahead; any more and Chase would get it. Evie was starting to get lost in all of this.
The poacher ordered Arthur to attack Zeke, no. He wouldn't do that, surely! Arthur resisted, and somehow Evie was starting to think that maybe - just maybe, he was having the poacher over. She balled her fists and took a deep breath, ready to just let them leave - with her Ninetales, with Zeke's Chandelure, with Lorna's Dragonite and now, Jack's Poliwhirl. Would this ever end? At the very least she knew Arthur was getting his Feraligatr back but was that really going to help them?
Nyght and Seth tried the sneak attack, that didn't work either, was this not obvious they would need to just let him go? Seth's Houndour was snagged and Evie had had enough. "Just leave already!" She screamed at Jason, "Get out of here so we can find you and take you down then! Stop playing games with us!" Evie backed up, turning her back on them as she went over to Seth, "It'll be alright... I mean, at least the others will keep Houndour company until we go and get them. Right?"
Evie looked back, Jason would realise it, she was eyeing up that snag machine. "We need to get that from him. Somehow." She muttered quietly to Seth.

((Righto I'll just post to give 'er a kick in gear then eh? If this isn't okay just let me know and I'll delete it, not a problem ^.^)) Lorna felt like her blood had been replaced by fire and vinegar as the tower finally drew into sight. As soon as the poacher had made his gloating comments and left with Arthur in tow (she still fervently wished the boy had a plan and wasn't just jumping ship so to speak) they'd all began the march towards the tower as fast as their legs could carry them. Her pokeballs were twitching like mad now, as if they knew they'd almost arrived at their destination, Typhlosion's pokeball being the worst of all as it was now almost too hot to touch. Gingerly she patted the red and white orb. "There, there old boy - we'll get him back I promise."The tower was in full view now as they cleared the treeline. Lorna put her fingers to her lips and let out a piercingly loud whistle. "Oi Jason or whatever the hell your name was - get your sorry ass out here so I can hand it to you on a goddamn silver platter you cowardly son of a bitch!"Pissed didn't even come close to describing Lorna McKinley at the current moment.

Jason watched as the group arrived, finally. He listened to Lorna's threats chuckling gently as he flicked a switch then walked out onto the balcony that was built half way up the tower, looking down to the group. Unknown to the others, the switch had activated the generator in the tower, powering up the sonic emitter that was fitted to the top. The noise created was inaudible to humans but would be deafeningly painful to any pokemon that was released. That would give Jason time to talk, he really did enjoy the sound of his own voice.
"Welcome...." He said down to the group smiling darkly. This was going to be fun.

Arthur had been with Jason for a few hours now, and he was certain of one thing. Jason was insane. And creepy. Very creepy. He had never met someone who loved themselves quite as much as Jason did. Whilst entertaining himself by wandering around the tower, he noticed Jason, staring at himself in a mirror and just, talking to himself. He seemed to be practising some sort of speech, but it was really creepy to watch. He was almost relieved when the rest of the group arrived to confront the poacher, because Arthur really wanted to leave this psycho. He didn't regret betraying his friends if it meant getting his Feraligatr back, but being around Jason was unnerving, he never felt safe with his back turned. It was a bad alliance, and Arthur wanted out.
Arthur stood slightly behind Jason on the balcony, wondering what this freak had in store for them.

(Guuuuuys, what's the hold up? D; )
Evie looked up at the tower, there he was - there was Arthur. The coordinator wasn't very bright, but it wasn't difficult to tell that Arthur looked a little bit uncomfortable. Jason welcomed them and Evie folded her arms over her chest, not impressed.
"Thanks for the lovely reception. Can we get down to business now?" She called up to the balcony on the tower.

(sorry, gotta move again this week I just found out, time has not been on my side XP onward!)
Seth followed Nyght and the group to the tower, Seth was already uncomfortable with the idea that they had the lower ground near a tower he could more than suspect was causing trouble for someone somewhere.
"Lorna... this seems to be like the one tower we saw once, eh?" he whispered almost inaudibly. He had to share in Lorn'a anger, losing his best tracker Pokemon Houndour...
Nyght, though quiet as ever, looked mightily pissed off. His shoulders were high, his fists were formed and his eyes gleamed with menace. The scary part was how calm he seemed- he didn't move fast or rashly.

Jason smiled to the group, coughing slightly to clear his throat, he seamed almost... excited? He leaned over the edge of the balcony slightly smiling as he started to hear noises building in the forest around them, the signal must be starting to work already. He lent back and clicked another button, the signal cancelling the first and now employing the same signal used in goldenrod many years ago.
"Yes, yes we shall get started Evie." Jason started before clearing his throat once again. "Im sorry my tower is not much to behold yet, but you did rush me to completion a little. Its ok though because I assure you it is fully operational. I know the design is not much, not compared to the one Ignus Draco so rudely destroyed anyway." Jason cackled feeling it was best to inform them on quite how the tower was destroyed. "Did none of you think it was strange that a blast of water could cause a tower to explode? I will let you in on a little secret, that jet of water hit the pokemon generator, causing the tower to overload. Yes a Pokemon generator, the tower was powered by Electric type pokemon, that are now unfortunately, diciest. This also goes for all the other pokemon that resided in there, hundreds of them, all looking forward to getting back to their trainers were killed by one hothead's half baked plan. I suggest you inform him of this soon."
Jason paused for a moment to let that sink in with the group, particularly enjoying Lumine's response. "But I digress, the reason you are all here today is to see the unavailing of the Control Tower 2.0!" Jason threw his arms wide as he said this gesturing to his creation with open arms. "With this tower I can now control any pokemon that are within range of its signal, that signal of course covers all of Kansia and soon will cover the world. Not bad for a piece of second hand Team Rocket Tech eh? You trainers should not be aloud control over pokemon, you are too much of a danger to them and to yourselves. You are selfish, careless, you go into situations and dont think! You just assume your pokemon will get you out of any trouble you cause. That's why I am so kindly relieving you of the burden. But first I believe we had a deal? The only place this tower is not signalling to at the moment is this clearing, I did that just for you guys." Jason flicked a switch on the panel in front of him, causing the lift to start sliding down the front of the tower until it reached ground level and the panel dropped down. As the panel dropped opening up a gap for Jason and Arthur to walk out of, a red carpet rolled out in front for them to walk on.
"You may each battle me to get you pokemon back, one at a time, one pokemon on one pokemon, no second chances. I will not cheat so I ask that you don't either, if you do the deal will be off and I will power up the Snag machine again." He smiled darkly to them holding his hands out by his sides, his fingers twiddling near his pokeballs, almost like a cowboy from the oldwest.
"So, who is up first?"

Lorna felt like a lead weight had slipped into her stomach. She had no idea whether Jason was bluffing about the pokemon residing in the tower, but by the great birds if he wasn't...she hadn't managed to catch up with Brooke about the official findings but surely the Professor would've told her if remains had been found amongst the wreckage right?
The biologist gritted her teeth as Jason kept talking - the prat really enjoyed the sound of his own voice apparently - and then immediately stepped forward when he made his challenge, plucking a pokeball from her belt. "C'mon then you worthless sack of shit!" she snarled. "Let's dance!"
She hesitated a moment as she was about to throw out her pokeball - could they really trust him not to just snag them away? She brough the red and white capsule close to her chest. "If anything happens - I'll never forgive myself." she murmured. She never would willingly risk the lives of her pokemon but she had to take the chance, to save Dragonite and judging from the way her pokeball was heating up in her hand her companion understood. "Arcanine!"
The large fiery canine appeared with a fierce, booming bark. He focused his smoldering gaze on Jason and his ears went back against his skull as his impressive mane bristled aggresively.
